An unique Sinfonetta!
WIMEN Sinfonetta is a formation created especially for the WIMEN Festival, composed entirely of women artists from the renowned OBC of the Auditori and the Symphony Orchestra of the Liceu, under the direction of the talented associate concertmaster Jaha Lee.
Jaha Lee, associate concertmaster of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, has shone in prestigious orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw and the London Symphony Orchestra. She has also been awarded in prominent international competitions like the Lipizer, Yankelevich, and Ginette Neveu.
As a passionate leader, she brings authentic and captivating energy to every performance. Her extraordinary talent and sensitivity position her as an inspiring and celebrated artist on the global music scene. Additionally, as a professor at the Liceu Conservatory, she shares her experience and passion with new generations of musicians.
