Las Karamba was founded in 2018 in the heart of the streets of Barcelona, amidst the chaos, traffic, city life, and stress, with the need to gain strength, overcome fears, and change the way of living.
It was born from the empathy between six life stories—stories of migration, musical heritage, and diverse, subversive motherhoods—with the intention of pursuing dreams, exploring potential and sensitivity, and reclaiming the role of women and commitment to music. A multicultural blend of Venezuela, Cuba, Spain, and Argentina: a fusion of son, cha-cha-cha, salsa, timba, rap, and urban music.
