Vibrant Fusion
Meli Perea, originally from Bogotá, fuses Caribbean energy and Afro-Colombian rhythms with electronic music. She began her career in freestyle and folklore, gaining prominence with the project “Suákata,” which brought her to international stages.
In 2023, after emigrating to Spain, she launched her eponymous project and introduced “Prisma” (Guspira Records, 2023), where she weaves together rap, Latin rhythms, and Afro-Colombian sounds to define her musical identity in a fresh environment.
Recently, she has performed in over 20 concerts in Catalonia and released singles such as “Lodo” and “Me Llama La Tierra,” blending electronic, Latin, and afrotech influences. Currently, her band of six musicians creates a vibrant live experience as she prepares to release a new album in March 2025.
