Brigitte Emaga is a singer and songwriter born in Barcelona. She started singing at a very young age, absorbing different musical styles such as soul, funky, R&B, and African music, among others. Her musical influences include Fela Kuti, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, and Etta James.
Currently, she is involved in various projects such as Brigitte Emaga & The Essence (Band) & Femme Trio, blending soul with blues elements; Melodie Gimard & Brigitte Emaga, a soulful fusion of voice and piano; and DOUBLE SOUL Music Remix, a combination of saxophone and vocals.
